The Cathedral convention for the year 2011 was held at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Singapore from July 1 to July 3. The Main Speaker was H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Athanasius, Metropolitan of Kandanad East Diocese.

H. G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros, Metropolitan of Madras Diocese celebrates Petecost Sunday service at St. Thomas Orthodox Syrian Cathedral, Singapore.

As part of Cathedral Fellowship, one day Summer Mela (Social Fellowship) was inaugurated by H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius, Metropolitan of Trissur Diocese on 30th May 2010. Various fun filled activities like Kid’s Corner, Games Junction, Painting Competition and Elder’s Meet were arranged. Food stalls like Biriyani Fest, Snack Hut, Dosa Corner and Cool Treats were set up to serve mouth watering food and snacks. The painting competition, held in two age groups (6-10 years and 11-15 years), attracted students from other international and local schools in addition to students from our cathedral. For shopping freaks, 1 Stop Bazzar was arranged, where items from hand painting to clothing were available. 

Cathedral Fellowship of our Cathedral was celebrated from 28th May 2010 to 30th May 2010. H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius, Metropolitan of Trissur Diocese was the chief guest. The theme for this year’s fellowship was “Being an Orthodox in Diaspora”. Thirumeni also celebrated the Holy Qurbana on 30th May 2010.
